About Blood Bank Department

The Blood Bank at District Hospital Bathinda maintains a capacity of 600-700 units and provides comprehensive blood banking services. We supply whole blood and various blood components including PRBC (Packed Red Blood Cells), FFP (Fresh Frozen Plasma), SDP (Single Donor Platelets), PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma), and clotting factors (Factor VII, VIII, IX) for patients requiring blood transfusion and component therapy.
